Salesmarket is helping Norwegian company Haawal Engineering AS enter Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and introduce its reusable mobile flood barriers to local decision-makers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Haawal\u2019s mobile flood barriers are designed for municipalities, emergency services and other organisations that need fast, reusable protection against flooding. Public-sector sales cycles are long: technical evaluation is followed by budgeting, planning and often a formal procurement process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When our cooperation began in April 2026, the immediate objective was therefore not a quick sale. The first priority was to identify the right organisations and decision-makers, introduce Haawal\u2019s solution and build long-term sales opportunities across the Baltic markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Salesmarket opened the markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Estonia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We started by mapping potential customers and introducing the solution in Estonia. We organised online meetings followed by three in-person meetings in Tallinn, Tartu and P\u00e4rnu. These meetings allowed Haawal to present the product directly to local stakeholders and receive practical market feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latvia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After the initial work in Estonia, we expanded the project to Latvia. We mapped suitable public-sector organisations, carried out local outreach and secured a meeting with representatives of an important public-sector institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lithuania<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Market-entry work is currently continuing in Lithuania. We are identifying suitable organisations, building new relationships and preparing further product presentations. The project is ongoing, and the opportunities are developing in line with the long decision-making and procurement cycles typical of the public sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
